Before John McCain embraced Bush, I would have voted for him based on his campaign finance reform platform. I will never vote for McCain now as I have lost respect for him but would love to see someone else take up the cause against how campaigns are financed. Our system of the corporate financing of political campaigns invites fascism. Bush's actions has shown us how unhealthy it is to allow corporate interests to be placed ahead of the needs of citizens. Ca has term limits on it's state officers..........2 terms. Some argue that we can enforce term limits in the ballot box but I wonder.
