You're right, of course, about the mild anesthesia and the driver. I could have easily driven myself home, but they won't let you out of the building without your driver being there. Just a safety precaution and a wise one at that.

I get the full body exam when I get my annual physical. Another good suggestion.

"Having a full-body examination by a dermatologist can be another life-saver."

That is very true, especially if you have spent a lot of your youth in the sun and around water. My husband has been having those for the last two years and so far, he has had to have several areas scraped and burned and two cut into on his face. His dermatologist has him come in frequently to keep check. His latest was a mole on his chest which had long roots on it, but lab reports stated it was not cancer. He was sent to another surgeon who specializes in those procedures to double check the final removal and to be sure no cancer cells were in the removal. One thing for sure, we have to pay for all that fun we had in the sun for years. We sailed every weekend for many years and took a couple of vacations out in the Gulf and most times then we did not wear hats to cover our faces. Pay back time now has come. Again, I am the lucky one as I always used Oil of Olay on my skin while on the water and I have no areas to be concerned with at present and I go and get checked when he does. Oil of Olay is wonderful to relieve discomfort and heal from sun burn. I still use it every day as a moisturizer to protect my skin, and it works well for me.
