I see you do history as poorly as everything else. Like thinking a $320,000 car will drive all the others off the road.

Also Vietnam was a complicated set of circumstances that brought us to war, which is usually the case when it comes to war, not ONE INDIVIDUAL or ideology that drove the whole misadventure as is the case in Iraq.
There WAS, in fact, one ideology behind Vietnam. It was called "containment". It largely worked. It only had to largely work until the USSR collapsed.

Correct. The Iraq debacle is Bush-Cheney's alone. They are to blame. They did what they did despite all kinds of people from both parties trying to warn them. They didn't listen to anyone but the far rightwing neocons and big oil companies.
