Yes, I have had one of those too. It only looks at the lower end of the colon and not the whole length. It is called a sigmoidosocpy. It was a very easy test for me and I felt nothing.
My original tumor was in the upper part of my colon so having a colonoscopy is a much better test to have as it shows the whole length of the colon.

I've had a few of those barbaric tests way back when they kept one awake and in pain... I refuse now! :)

edit... ROFLOL... I read this over after posting... I personally am not referring to the 1800's for my experiences... I am NOT that old <wink>
