What product has IBM announced for 45 nm ? IBM has not shown any demo at 45 nm. I think that plan will be revised.

Besides, Intel is not "shooting for". They are equipping fabs on a large scale. Meaning they have firm schedules for equipment installation. They have it budgeted. The specific fabs are designated. The products are defined. That is very different from IBM's "me too" which is apparently just empty PR.
