Johnny Cash grew up on a sharecropper's 20 acres and a mule provided by FDR's New Deal, a totally socialist and even communist program (communism in its ideal form, true compassion for the hard-suffering workingman). This is the type of "communism" I was talkinjg about that Pete Seeger supports. Not the military-police state type in the USSR. He hates that. Cash credits those 20 acres with saving his family's life. They worked hard and bought the land from the government. Johnny then served his country in the Air Force. See how each side can serve the other and everything is in balance? In Bush's America, nobody sacrifices anything, Bushies don't serve the country but let the corporate crooks rip off the middleclass and environment. Then later on after Bush is gone the debt has to be paid off, crushing the economy. We can expect a 4-5 year recession after Bush, having to go into bill-paying mode. Plus we'll need more SUperfund monies to clean up Bush's environmental messes.
