well.. I try not to fall in love with stocks, neither the opposite. In the technology heydays I was lucky enough not to invest in carriers but instead into suppliers of networking equipment and optical components, simply because I saw this rush to "dominance" that necessitated quick deployment of new facilities that may not attract much revenue initially..

you shouldn't forget that GLBC came out of Chapter 11 years ago where they were able to shed much debt baggage. They also got a pretty supportive new core shareholder and majority owner in Singapore Telecom (SingTel). Their current management has pretty well executed a turnaround, as the presentations posted amply describe. 20% top line growth during a time of industry agony is nothing to sneeze at. Let's see what the immediate future is going to bring. With Impsat they are broadening their reach to the LatAm and Central American markets. The only missing piece in their game plan is a Pacific high-capacity arm...
