Hmong of Laos need Patriot Act waiver A few weeks ago two SFers who work closely with me testified in Washington before a committee of "the right folks" about this problem. They explained the work arounds we were able to establish in Thailand in 1986 and Phnom Penh in 1996 and 2002. Several other DC parties came wanting to testify but were sent packing. The committee left with instructions to establish a workable solution asap. Eleven families have arrived since then.
