Just look at the SPEC page from AMD. All 65nm X2 versions are
65W. No look at the 90nm versions also with 65W. What do you
notice?

Hint: 65nm has the SAME!!! speed (bin) like 90nm.

Sure. Basically the same transistors at a lower power point.

But that will change, over time.

Will they have enough time? Only time will tell.
