I saw a BBC report on the surge, and how it's being done. Our soldiers are taking sections of Bagdad, evicting people where they want to base and in an area around where they want to base. Then, they use what structures they can, bulldoze some, build armored cement gun towers and barracks. After that, they begin going through the neighborhood, house by house, looking for weapons, bomb materials, anti-American literature, whatever.. Imagine a bunch of foreigners doing that in YOUR neighborhood. Would that win your heart or your mind?
