Oil independence is first and foremost a security and economic issue. A "conservative issue". Every time you fill your SUV tank you are giving a few bucks to Saudi Arabia, and al Qaeda. We are all proud of your contribution. The funny aspect to this is that shortie is also contributing to Chavez, the South American socialist. Like I explained in another post, when a tanker picks up oil, it doesn't store oil by country compartment but rather its all mixed up. So, when shortie burns gas like its candy that helps keep the price of oil up which, in turn, helps Chavez realize his socialist dream. Who knew shortie was a fan of socialists and bedposts. ;-)
