Why don't the supposed majority of the antiwar people do something to disassociate themselves from the supposed "lunatic fringe"? Why do they march along with them? Why do they go to marches run by ANSWER and similar groups at all? Why aren't liberals online as upset by this kind of thing as we are?

No, it sounds more like righteous anger at a significant minority that has taken over the anti-war movement.

The REAL HATE SPEECH is the now well documented outrageous crap that is commonplace at all anti-war demonstrations. Unfortunately the MSM will not show the American public any of it just like they won't educate the public who is behind these demonstrations.

Fortunately there are normal people with cameras & access to the internet who now document what this guy wrote about. You can pretend it doesn't exist or downplay the real size of the lunatics at evey anti-war demonstration, but it won't change the facts.

You mean THIS "peaceful" Seattle WTO meeting?

"Starbucks stores vandalized as Seattle braces for WTO anniversary protests"
archives.cnn.com

This is YOUR SIDE:
"The news coverage focused on the violence that day, but as my daughter calculated, the crowd was more than 99 percent peaceful. Those who did break the peace only directed their anger at property."
nadir.org

"What went wrong, how local officials and community leaders failed not only to anticipate but also to respond to the protests and violence can offer important lessons for other communities seeking to capitalize on the growing demand for international congresses and conferences."
commercialdiplomacy.org

"FBI terrorist threat advisory for WTO meeting in Seattle
...........................................
>The FBI has received credible information that some elements within the
>protest community are planning to disrupt the conference. The FBI assesses
>the potential threat of violence, to include criminal acts of civil
>disturbance, as low to medium for the Seattle area during the time frame of
>the WTO Meeting. In particular, environmental or animal rights extremists
>or anarchist-induced violence should be considered a possibility during the
>meeting.
