"Bush is compassionate - much more than you or I." Compassion is defined as: 1. a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering. Where exactly have you seen Bush exhibit his compassion? What has he done to alleviate the suffering of the poor and misfortunate?

Name one thing Bush is compassionate about besides Big Oil. You must be insane. Bush is the least compassionate and people-minded president we have ever seen. He has never done a damn thing for charity in his life. The first thing he did when he came into office was cut health funding for the poor, breast cancer research, Veterans benefits and stripped environmental standards which normally affect the poor and needy most. Bush's faith-based initiative and No CHild Left Behind both turn out to be at least semi frauds. The former is a vote-buying scheme. Large bribes were paid to Cleveland churches before the 2004 election for instance. And NCLB failed to count the 2 million wost-scoring students, and now we have 40 million illiterate Americans. Bush also had to be dragged kicking and screaming into funding AIDS precention and then only if it included no birth control and abstinence only training which has increased infanity AIDS cases and unwanted pregnancies in the third world.
