Well I think that people who are so ignorant as to ignore the class effects of political policy are nuts too. So I guess we are even.

The Bushie elite are definitely class warriors, against the vast majority of the American People. Look at a list of their biggest priorities and every single one is a huge gift to big industry cronies, the very rich, the idle rich, the CEO's, the companies that outsourfce jobs to the third world, polluters and Big Oil and war profiteers in particular.

Bushies also don't give a damn about the poor. Just look at Katrina, cuts in Medicaid and fighting for long overdue raise in the minimum wage for proof of that.

This Bushie war against the middleclass, which Republican Lou Dobbs harps on a lot, is real, devastating and very much on the Bushie agenda. It started with Reagan when he went after the unions. Bush-cheney are trying to finish the job. As a result we have never had a more insecure middleclass and underclass in our country than right now. Not since the Great Depression.

Studies have also proven that Bush's tax code is bad for anyone making under $500,000 per year, and that Bushies have shifted the overall weight of taxation from the rich to the middleclass by 4%, which is a ton of money. They have also made is easy for big corporations manufacturing overseas to evade US taxes, and it's no accident companies like Halliburtoin are fleeing the country to avoid all taxes and public health and corporate ethics regulations.
