Bush-Cheney lied to and defrauded our entire nation and the world. The Senate which voted to give Bush war powers made a huge mistake, but they were also victims of a lot of phony intel Cheney's group fed them, plus the massive GOP political smear campaign against anyone who dared to question, calling even war heros like Max Cleland "traitor, with the terrorists" for wanting union protection for first responders in the Patriot Act.

It was also an huge lie of the Bushies to try and morph 9-11 and Al Qaida into Saddam. That was also done with a combination of lies and fraudulent scare tactics.

As for Kerry, don't forget that when he voted, he declared that Bush had promised him that he would only go to war as a last resort, would work with the UN, build a real Gulf War style coalition, and would not invade until he was fully prepared for the aftermath. Plus, he had to find real incriminating evdience of imminent threat first.

Bush lied to Kerry too, you see. He lied to us all. And that is what Plamegate is really all around, covering up one of the biggest lies in the selling of the war.

Did the US declare war against Iraq? Was the authorization to use force limited to certain activities?
