Senator: Some see impeachment as option By HOPE YEN, Associated Press Writer

With his go-it-alone approach on Iraq, President Bush is flouting Congress and the public, so angering lawmakers that some consider impeachment an option over his war policy, a senator from Bush's own party said Sunday....

Its rather amazing that Bush is taking the position he is taking. He's allowing himself no wiggle room. From what I understand, the common sentiment is that Congress/the Dems will back down and will look bad in the end for having proposed such a bill. However, there is a growing belief among some politicos that its Bush who will end up looking bad and help bring the GOP one step closer to becoming a regional party again.
