Hey TDRKZ, I'm the one who brought up Stan's book, glad you enjoyed it!

Also glad you called it a novel. Made me laugh, cause I never considered it as such. But since scientists would likely not consider it science, why not call it a novel? Thanks for that insight, no matter how unintentional I figure it was.

I use stockcharts.com . Doesn't mean it's the best, only means I use it. Don't get used to any given charting place online, they all change their systems and styles over time. Enough to drive one nuts. The only way one can have a consistent set of computer charts over a period of decades, is to get a computer with charting software now, get used to it, and never update it. (If/when you or anyone else come up with a unchanging -- for decades -- alternative to this method, I definitely want to hear it!)

Here is a decent way to decide as to which broker:

fool.com

Best!
