Well with it being a fraud, I too would side that the perpetrators are scum.

As for Buyins.net, I have never understood how they calculate their data so I leave it alone. I can't confirm or refute it's accuracy. Without the capacity to do so I let them do what they do as ANY analyst does. I believe there were analysts hyping sub prime just before it collapsed and analysts that paint pretty pictures before every collapse. Buyins.net uses computer algorithms and information obtained by the markets to come up with their numbers and then publishes such. Unless you can refute 4.8 million shorts over a period of 18 months, and representing 7.7% of the total volume traded over this period i would suggest you look at the real culprits.

BTW...Was Buyins.net hired by the company and if so, did they fail to disclose? I am sure the greater hype came from the message boards.
