Thanks for the additional info on Anna Louise Strong. I've read that she was kind of a scatterbrain, and this confirms it. I wonder how closely Maurice Strong is related to her? He used this claimed relationship to get close to the Chinese leadership. It would be kind of funny if he was a tenth cousin pulling a wayo scam! <g>

As for reducing the world's population, I think it's up to the women. For most of history their role was to keep having kids until they died in childbirth. But lately they've figured out there's other fun things to do, like running Helengrad or flying A-10 jets over Baghdad. I expect the day will come when they'll demand $1 million up front before having a child. That should lower the population a bit. Two or three billion global population is probably about right. At that level there will be lots more gold and waterfront property etc per capita, but still enough people to keep up civilization and provide a market for CDMA interconnectedness.
