The lead in chart in Paul's presentation (some 65 pages of detail on the Q's website / IMO, no other wireless company comes close to sharing their business model detail to this degree with their investors, some -BRCM- won't show charts/ or provide hard copy detail)

This was the essence of the graphic- a recent WSJ ad.
"Then / Now-- is better" Few handset choices then v many now.

LarsA: Is that really true. Isn't even more concentrated today?

In the past, Qualcomm has made that comment relative to the graphic below ... illustrating market share domination is reduced in CDMA2000 and WCDMA relative to GSM markets. However, since GSM still dominates the overall market, the effect is difficult to see in overall numbers.

Maybe we'll soon see that graphic updated for CY2006.
