Time to do it is now. Let the acquirer think they can expand the market.

"Insane pricing"...

It is really bugging me.

I have to think the world is now out to get around this price at any cost. Not only is even a modest co-pay going to be a problem that alxn will eventually eat, I guess, if the patient is otherwise destitute, but some private insurance policies have maximum defined benefits which will surely be exceeded over the 10-yr thrombosis risk period. What then?

Plus, I could easily see NICE now saying 'only for t-denpendent pts and then 6-months on 6-months off.'

And as for market expansion for heavens sake, what symptoms could a person who is currently undiagnosed possibly have that would justify the gouging given by this exhorbitant drug for rest of life? "You haven't needed this so far, and I am pleased to inform you there is a miracle treatment for your condition. You may want to call a mortgage lender."

I don't understand any of this from an expert's POV, from any angle. As an investor I don't think I'm going to hang around to hear the screaming.

Good luck and goodby alexion.
