It is the commitment to some group or partisan agenda, that justifies (in your own mind) the abandonment of reason, truth, and just conduct. The cost is a principled identity of self.

I have no hesitation in telling Jlallen when I disagree with him and he tells me when he thinks I am wrong. I happen to think his post identifying some, not all, non-extremists on SI was spot on. I can see why it caused you some discomfort but that is beside the point.
