"they create more jobs with that money, so everyone wins" Spoken like a Big Fat central-planning SOCIALIST! (And, not so incidentally... the argument is crap. Economics don't work that way. By taking money from the taxpayers to redistribute, you lower the over-all potential for growth in the ENTIRE economy... and you shift business's gaze away from pursuing profitable natural economic advantages [investing in capital goods and such, investing in R & D for their own future growth, etc.], and towards merely chasing after the federal teat... NON-economic pursuits, in other words. Nothing that strengthens them for the global competitive environment.) But... I guess a big Socialist like you wouldn't know that, right?
