I believe that without Osama's bankroll, 9/11 would have been improbable. It takes big bucks to support the organization he organized.

Some years back the Somalis' , rippled him off for about $8,000,000 and it didn't hurt him financially.

I think he was the facilitator, the conduit, the motivator, the glue that held the organization together. Other could talk a good game but he knew how to play it.

Keep in mind that he had contacts in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. He was a man of influence, and among radical Arabs, there are few that commanded the following he had.

The communists had Trotsky as organizer and intellectual heavyweight, the Radical Muslims, had Osama.

I also think that he is dead and its good riddance for all concerned..
