Bush will continue with the war no matter what Democrats do. And if Democrats go too far, like stranding the troops in the field without funding, the GOP will use that as a political club in 2008. What's sad is that the GOP's favorite tactic, dishonestly calling DEms "weak on defense" is really hurting the troops. That said, I can tell you that impeachment of Bush after removal of the cancerous growth named Dick Cheney is a distinct possibility and we are moving in that direction. That may be the onmly way to stop the occupation since Bush-cheney are dead-set on continuing and even escalating no matter what.
