Let's face it Tench, Bush has killed the Republican party. From here on out, it's likely to be a southern, regional party with a few wild cards here and there like Arnold.

"What goes around comes around, and I think the Dems know this."

Of course they know it. It "goes around" during the Clinton administration. Now, unfortunately, it "comes around".

There is nothing hypocritical about Dems investigating corruption. Though dems are not perfect, they are much more ethical than the Bush GOP. Bush-cheney got into power by sheer corruption, cheating, lying and manipulating. Ever since they got in they have tried to grab more an more power by all kinds of illegal and unethical means that go way-way beyond anything we've seen before. This includes shamelessly exploiting 9-11 and our military for their own advantage, and letting corporate cronies rip off over a trillion dollars from the public. It also includes the most corrupt congress we have ever seen. Tom Delay ran congress like a mafiosos and was all about tit for tat bribery and extortion.

Notice the gas prices now? Why did they just spike 80 cents? No reason at all. Just gouging.
