What is ascii format? I don't know a thing about computers or software.

hi dabum,,, been a while, but no matter,, ur diligence, ur focus, is why i come back and read, week in and week over the years.. ty about ascii,,, it is an old school method of transporting data. and i realy doubt if u will find any source. i have a suggestion though,, if u should have the same info available in a xcel format,,, u could use the xcel "save as" function, and pick the choice, "text, ms-dos". in essence, u would use the xcel to export the data as "ascii" even though it does not use the buzz word, ascii ur welcome to send me private replys, as not to clutter dabum's board. sam
