The majority of antiwar people don't know about it because it is RARE. The majority don't know about it because the MSM does not report it. Only reason we know is because the blogs pick it up and report it.

I think if the majority of antiwar folks don't know what goes on at antiwar protests its because they're not interested. The information is certainly available. When something pleasing to them occurs like some preacher in Colorado being caught sneaking around being gay that gets their attention - though that is hardly common behavior for pastors. The same folks who don't care to inform themselves about these protestors listen to Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter breathlessly every day to find a word or phrase to get offended about.

The majority of antiwar people don't know about it because it is RARE. It would be different if it was very common behavior. It is not. That an incredibly naive statement. Every anti-war protest is hallmarked by such disgusting behavior, starting back in the hippy days of the 1960s. I remember it. I was there. I had a short haircut and that behavior has always been objectionable to me, but it's always been the style of spoiled brats who forget where their freedom comes from. Those yahoos in Portland are professionals at their trade. They egged Dan Quayle when he visited the city some years ago as Vice President. They show up desecrating Pioneer Square at every opportunity. Portland and other cities that tolerate hooligans desecrating the honor of this country had better be advised that the majority of us HATE that behavior and we will not stand for it.
