The Edwards are not immune to the difficult emotional aspects of Elizabeth's condition. What I was trying to say is that a Katie's thuggish attempt question Elizabeth's values values failed because Elizabeth didn't pick up these values up last week. She had them for a long time... as evidenced by her wearing her original, inexpensive wedding ring when she could clearly afford to upgrade. Couric was desperate to break Elizabeth, to provoke one of those interviews where the subject breaks down on camera. Makes for great exposure and theatre. Elizabeth's values are firm enough to prevent idiots like Couric from unraveling them.
