Don't worry, it will take awhile, as all of us know. We've lost several over the years. Now, we can laugh with our memories, but it took awhile to get there. Those Golden Retrievers and now Papilions are just so special....and the Black Lab big guy that we've been dog sitting now for several years is now about 12+....He's getting old now...and is such a nice guy. He has trained the UPS, the FedEx, and two US PostMen in the neighborhood, that if he barks in greeting, they are to come and bring him dog biscuits or animal crackers. And he gets his wish.....Best fed dog in town....One of the USPO guys not only gives in biscuits, he gets out of his truck, and walks with Buddy back up the driveway, and puts the treats on his bed on the front porch. Now, THAT's how to train your treat giver.....LOL!
