Voters in WA state will always be eternally greatful to Patty Murray for standing tall and voting NO to a blank check for George W Bush on Iraq. She will always be re-elected by reminding voters of that vote.

The will to fight the domestic enemy has been sorely lacking in the non-term-limitesd, earmark-addicted Republican "establishment". Bush can use the last of term 2 to set an example that will allow the Republican party to lead for decades. We'd hate to see him not figure that out until he's in the middle of his memoirs.
