You know, out of a country the size of ours, it wouldn't be unusual to find such hate on either side. If I looked, I'm sure I could find similar language about Edwards, but I'm really not interested in looking for the hate; I am not going to look for it- I see plenty without going out of my way. I feel for Tony and his family. It's a terrible disease, and everyone I have seen has been sympathetic. You cannot, and should not, take the words of a couple nuts and generalize, unless you desire to see the world through the prism of your own misapprehension. And maybe you do. Who can say? Just as Rush doesn't stand for all conservatives, when he doubted the Edwards's religious faith, a few nutty (unprofessional) blog comments, don't stand for the democrats or the left. Most democrats will be sorry for Tony, and wish him the best.

I have yet to see any such bile on any of the rightwing blogs re Elizabeth Edwards. Maybe I don't go to the right RWE places.... But seriously, both families and the individuals themselves need all the mental support they can gather, to help them through this terrible disease. The people who say all the terrible things will one day have their own "whoppppp" along side the head....Life seems to work out that way.

They spread the rumor that McCain had a drug addicted wife and an illegitimate baby from an affair with a black prostitute. They also spread the rumor that Dems would ban the bible and promote sex with dogs. Gee. Now you're crying foul when you think it crosses the line. Tony Snow makes stupid and nasty comments about others and then wonders why people make stupid and nasty comments about him.
