A few years ago I visited the Louisville Slugger baseball bat factory in Kentucky. They have a pitching machine that would let you choose any great pitcher from the past and the machine would throw his fast ball into a waiting catcher. All of this is behind a cage and you can stand in the umpires spot, right behind the catcher and watch. I'll tell you the first several times I watched a 95 mph ball come at me I flinched... hard. That's a scary sight and I can't imagine getting hit by one of those bullets.

He wasn't around yet - smart ass! My coach laughed at me. Instead of calling me Robin Yount he called me Robin "Doubt" when I walked back to the bench. I said FU and tossed the bat. Sportsmanship was low at times with me.
