The UN inspectors found nothing. Bush kicked them out and went to war anyway. Bush at that point knew there were no WMD. He knew there were no Al Qaida conections. But he continued lying about it in order to trick us all into thinking Iraq was revenge for 9-11, a shell ganme, a bait and switch.

I was only fooled for about two weeks. I figured it out pretty quickly when the UN inspectors found nothing and when Bushies started dissing the French and the UN. I realized then that something really stank about the whole venture. But still I remained hopeful.

It all came down to "do we trust Bush-cheney?" or not. I knew they'd stolen the 2000 election and lied about the energy gougings, so I didn't really trust them, but after 9-11 I wanted to. I was sorely disappointed. The truth turned out to be much worse than I imagined. Then when they used the war to swipe the 2002 midterms too, that's when I hardened against them. Imagine calling triple amputee Max Cleland a coward and traitor. Just appalling these Bushies. Like you and your smears against Gandhi. Just despicable people on the Bushie side.
