I'd love to see HSTX soar in the near term, but I see little potential for this to happen. Still, I've been holding firm for many years now, because I believe in the management and in the potential of this company and its products. Also because I've done very well investing in the predecessor company, Digital Microwave (DMIC).

So the short response is that I'm not selling anything anytime soon... and certainly not on this one pundit's opinion.

It will be interesting to see how HSTX is doing in the upcoming quarterly conference call. The merger holds great potential for synergy, since the geographic markets and customer bases of the two entities are highly complementary. Will we see STXN products selling to traditional HRS customers and vice versa? What will be the longer-term direction of the HSTX merged product line? Will the greater bulk of HSTX enable them to compete more effectively than they could as separate entities?

One thing we investors should not lose sight of is the fact that HRS agreed not to sell any HSTX shares for a limited time. I need to remind myself of that date. Until then, a lot of HSTX shares are not available on the market (thus reducing the available supply).
