My G*dsons sister has often needed a good swift swat, but her mother thought it would injure her personality. I have little hope that her therapy for Authority Defiance Disorder is going to improve her never controlled temper now that she is past the point where a swift and corrective swat on the diaper might have made a difference. What was disagreeable in a 4 year old is a tragedy in a 9 year old.
