Fact: The public agrees with me on almost every issue. Maybe every issue. This has actually been true for quite some time though after 9-11 the public was cowed and suspended their disbelief, letting Bushies do what they wanted to do for a few years. That has all changed now. The backlash against Bushie policies and behavior is enormous. Bush has fallen from 90% approvals after 9-11 to 30% now. And as Bush has fallen, centrist-progressives have gained the public's trust.

You can see this as Democrats wiped out the GOP in the crucial state of Ohio last November, as well as former red states Virginia, Montana and New Hampshire. Pennsylvania meanwhile went totally blue.

The tide is turning. Mitch McConnell is said to be in trouble in Kentucky for 2008. He drank way too much Bushie Koolaid. The rightwing media is singing only for the choir.

Only 26% of the country agrees with you that we are headed in the right direction under Bush Republicans. realclearpolitics.com

That has to be one of the lowest scores ever for a major party. I'll bet Nixon's GOP was doing a lot better the day he stepped down.

And you have the nerve to pretend the country is still behind Bushie corruption and mismanagement. Shame on you. Pull your head out of the sand, lady. You're drunk on the old post 9-11 koolaid. But guess what? It was just a drug, an illusion, a brainwashing job. None of it was real. It was all a big fraud, and about 60% of the country has figured that out now. 60% is Bush's disapproval number and it's been there for a year now. It's not going to move except maybe to get worse.
