Tim, East Germany was called the German Democratic Republic. Do you think that the GDR was a democracy? One false label doesn't mean all labels are false. Your argument holds no weight. I didn't give you one false label.....I gave you several and I could give you many more. Republicans have claimed they are very much behind the American soldier and they have been for the most part They have? They sent American soldiers into harm's way ill equipped......inadequate or non existent armor......a shortage of armament. And then when they were wounded, they were put up in slum conditions. Many are suffering from PSTD but little is done to accommodate those individuals. I think Republicans do a whole bunch of flag waving and posturing, and little else. Its not uncommon for public entities to claim one thing and be something else. Which doesn't change the fact that - as I said before - "The Soviet Union, North Korea, China under Mao, etc. where examples of the reality of communist states. You can claim it all you like but it doesn't change the reality. Its like GOPers trying to tell the world that Hitler was a socialist. Its nonsense.
