Only in Bush's administration would a JUSTICE official take the 5th. If Bush's Justice Officials don't even respect the judicial process, we are in for a long stand-off with some real stubborn stinkers. But it's not going to work. It's just going to make congress angrier and turn the American people more and more against the Bushies.

Fox News just announced a hit job on Sandy Berger. That network is incorrigable. More and more Bushie Kollaid for their audience.

No matter how much gross corruption goes on in this Bush administration they ignore it and focus instead on much smaller scandals from the Clinton years.

Berger has already been punished and his "crime" was very minor. It was mainly just stupidity and laziness, though he was also probably being paranoid.

The fact is there is NOTHING wrong with it.....the Administration is entitled to have it priorities asserted by its political appointees....and in fact if those priorities are not asserted....it IS a performance issue. That's what happens when you win the election...you get to assert your priorities...If you want a position in the Admin. you play along or out you go....Ain't nothing wrong with that....Period.
