It could take a few weeks for your lisinopril to build up and get your BP down to acceptable levels, but it will do just that. I have to supplement my own lisinopril with Triamterine and that combo works for me. I've been on BP meds the better part of 40 years and watched it come and go. As we talked earlier, booze drives BP higher.
