They are a welcoming crowd...as long as you spout their nonsense and contribute to their causes. I don't know if it's exactly a cult but it has many of the same attributes. At any rate, it's on the wane again. It's no longer the popular thing especially as there's now a direct relationship between rightwingism and incompetence. When it was just rightwingism and corruption, that was as expected. It's the incompetence factor that's getting them. I see that's what the Dems are using to whack Bush's veto-threat upside the head with. :)
