I HAVE to report todays front page article in the Sun Sentinel of Ft. Lauderdale.
The article talks about the war in Iraq, the pressure on politicians to end it, offset by the pressure on Congress to stay out of trying to run the military.
Here is the gist of it. FLORIDA has contributed the second highest amount of troops to Iraq since the beginning. The number is about 145,000. (Texas is first and Calif is third).
Of those 145,000 troops, 129 have been killed since THE BEGINNING OF THE WAR.
Now, here is another article on first page. THREE KILLED in Lake Worth, Fla. Shootout. This brings the total number of KILLED in LAKE WORTH to 24, SO FAR THIS YEAR. Now, I dont know the exact population of Lake Worth, but it is a suburb of West Palm Beach and I would estimate it at 22,000.

Ok folks DO THE MATH. 129/145,000 over what 4 years? 24/22,000 over 3 MONTHS. Where should we get out of Iraq or lake worth?
The POINT of my arguement is this: Bob Wexler ought to mind his business AT HOME where he belongs and get behind straigtening up LAKE WORTH. Its MORE DANGEROUS then IRAQ.
Secondly, WPB has shootings every week, none of which TO MY KNOWLEDGE have ever been solved. I think politicians are getting involved where they DONT BELONG in Iraq cause they are TOO DAMN STUPID to know what to do at home. jdn
