I think having a Democratic President would prove such a disaster that Congress would swing back to Republicans in the first mid-term election and the following President would be guaranteed to be a Republican, so I am rooting for the Dems to win the White House in '08 for the long-term benefits of them not seeing power for many years to come.

Don't know how to prove it. I think either Rudy or Thompson can beat Hillary or Obama and I'll support either of them. I've come to the conclusion Thompson will be the hardest to attack and will be the most unflappable in the face of attacks. And the Dems will run the dirtiest campaign imaginable.

I think If.When Fred Thompson decides to run, we are going to know in fairly short order, what we think about him. Who cares what Dobson thinks about him. It's probably a plus that Dobson doesn't endorse him. Gives the Dems one less thing to bellyache about.

I can't imagine that IF Thompson is going to run, that he is letting any grass grow under his feet right now.

With the Dem Party running wild (as you said, look what they done and caused to NOT happen in just a few weeks since they were onboard....) we need a really good strong team for the WH.
