Which is why I stated "every once in a while". I think he is somewhat disgruntled, he doesn't toady for the neocons anywhere near as much lately. Of course, that may change tomorrow.

It's just very hard for me to accept ANY idea from David Brooks, even one that seems good. He's got to be the most optimistic Bushie Pollyanna there ever has been. He's STILL carrying water for W, a constant apologist. Even people like Robert Novack have thrown in the towel, but not Brooks. I listen to him every Friday on the Newshour.
