True. But if you feed the vermin more and you just end up with more vermin. What we can do is make raising taxes so painful they think twice about doing it.

Which is the problem in a nut shell. And no amount of increased taxes is going to fix that. I mean the tax cuts have increased federal revenue and they continue to grow spending beyond that. We have a massive spending problem not an income problem. But of course they will massively raise taxes and kill the economy anyhow. That is what they do.
