Hmm. I think QCOM vs. NOK patent battle is actually not even started yet, really. Both companies have a huge amount of patents (here a couple of weak GSM patents do not even count) and some of them aren't even related to (W)CDMA or GSM. I admit I don't know how this all is going to end (or I do: there will be some kind of agreement, but obviously Nokia has decided not to blink first, as they did last time).

Now, actually non-standard-based patents may be crucial (well, quite surprisingly, like that famous, even though weak, power saving patent from Broadcom, that is being handled by ITC now). I happen to know that Nokia has some good ones (but also Qualcomm may have them). The point is that when they are not standard related, Nokia has no oblication to license them to anybody.
