I voted for Bush the first time around and for Kerry the second time around, not because I liked Kerry that much, but because I thought he'd be more competent than Bush. It's not that I'm so heartily against all of Bush's policies. Many of his policies I agree with. It's his utter incompetence that offends me most and the fact that he is intractable on the Iraq issue. He refuses to listen or adapt to changing circumstance and that is a fatal flaw for a leader.

Here's my theory about Americans. I believe most Americans are slightly to the right of center. We're a largely Christian nation, so most are conservative. So most tend to want to vote Republican, even when the candidate sucks so bad. Anyway, read this article below. Shows that my theory might be on the mark:
