Gib, When I say "we" I mean the USA, the place where my family goes back twelve generations and unless you haven't noticed "we" did invade and occupy Iraq and one of the main propaganda items the neocons used to sell the invasion plan was the "gassing of the Kurds". The truth is that the "gassing" was just a single and unimportant event in a long war that destroyed millions and lasted ten years. Read "The Longest War" by Dilip Hiro if you don't believe it. Now if New Zealand had wanted to make war on Iraq and punish Saddam for his misdemeanors your Helengrad could have acted and you could have enlisted in her army but I don't remember ever hearing of such a plan.
