My sister's children all get migraines in lesser or greater intensity but the youngest boy has had a seizure from one.
He now is on seizure medication. Methinks there is a correlation there between the severe headache pain and
seizure.

I had my first seizure when I was 72 years old. It was what has been diagnosed as a partial complex seizure..

I had a total of 7 and they were terrible. The first one came while I was at the computer and playing a game requiring rapid eye movement. Something just came over me and I never fell to the ground or shook .. none of the petite mal symptoms but I had a period of time that I felt as though I were dead.

Other's came while walking, eating in a restaurant...
I had visuals with them. And there is a scream that I was not aware that I evidently let out which is known as the seizure scream.

The diagnosis was an injury to my frontal lobe some time during my life... AND old injury but I was so much of an athlete that I hit my head a lot... So any of you with head injuries. Things could conceivable crop up later. ANYHOW,

After tests...which I resisted like crazy until a group of friends had an intervention with me... and forced me to go for tests... I was diagnosed.. Not permitted to drive for
3 months. Retested ... oh I was put on Carbatrol... medication. One pill a day. But now I must list myself as an epileptic.. No matter that I only had so few . I have to put that information on my health records..

I can say that looking back on it my entire personality changed. I as angry... I snapped at people.. I had some road rage and I a different person. But, it was NOT until I was on medication and in remission from them that I acknowledged my personality change. At the time my thought processes would not permit my thinking that.

The BRAIN is a complex organ. Friends who have dementia now.. or the beginning of it... and Alzheimer's ... are changing in their personalities. I don't think that they are aware.

Anyone else ever had a seizure ?
