Perhaps that is because no one in recent history has been so successful in alienating people who hold a different political perspective than he does. Bush has tried to bully his opponents in to submission to a degree that no one has in my lifetime. Bullies have never been liked in the history of the world. Your shallow analysis stops at criticizing his critics, and takes no look at all in the role he has in how hated he is. It's the same shallow level of analysis that you bring to everything else.
